Furkan Ahmad

Furkan Ahmad is a researcher at Hamad Bin Khalifa University since February 2022, and serves as an Associate Editor for both Frontiers in Energy Research and the International Journal on Smart Sensing and Intelligent Systems. Previously, Furkan held postdoctoral positions at the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, and the Centre For Advanced Research in Electrified Transportation. An academic background includes a PhD in Electrical Engineering from Aligarh Muslim University, as well as multiple degrees in Electrical Engineering from the same institution. Early career experiences include roles as a Senior Research Fellow and Junior Research Fellow funded by the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research, along with internships at Indian Energy Exchange Limited and NTPC.
