Dan Burns

Dan Burns holds a B. Eng. in Aerospace Engineering from Ryerson Polytechnical Institute. With extensive experience at BOMBARDIER from October 1986 to May 2022, Dan served in various leadership roles, including Director of Airworthiness and Sr. Director of Product Integrity, where responsibilities included managing airworthiness, certification, and safety assurance for Bombardier Aerospace products. Key contributions include overseeing compliance with manufacturing and maintenance certificates, leading certifications for major aircraft programs, and managing environmental and safety initiatives. Currently, Dan is a Sr. Advisor for Quality & Certification at De Havilland Aircraft of Canada Limited, starting in June 2022.
