Ann Schoubs

Ann Schoubs serves as the Chief Executive Officer at De Lijn since January 2021, following a tenure as Chief Audit Executive at Federal Public Services from 2017 to December 2020. Prior experience includes various leadership roles within NMBS from 2003 to 2017, such as Head of Supply Chain Management and CIO, as well as roles in corporate control and asset accounting. Ann began career orientation with internal audit responsibilities at NMBS from 1990 to 2002. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Total Quality Management from Hasselt University and a civil engineering degree in electro-mechanics/production technology from KU Leuven, complemented by certification as a Certified Internal Auditor from the Institute of Internal Auditors.
