Dirk Schockaert

Dirk Schockaert has extensive experience in communication and project management. Starting as an intern at DM&S Communications in 1995, Dirk progressed to an account executive role at AID advertising from January to November 1997, overseeing customer communication campaigns. From January 1998 to June 1999, Dirk served as an education coordinator at Syntra West, where responsibilities included developing and organizing training programs for individuals and businesses. Since July 1999, Dirk has held the position of head of communication and relationship management at De Lijn, leading a team of six in managing both internal and external communications. Additionally, since March 2013, Dirk has been the vice-chairman and part of the daily management board at vzw Kustattracties. Dirk holds bachelor's degrees in Mass Communication/Media Studies and Journalism from Artevelde Hogeschool Gent.
