Jony van Puymbroeck

Jony Van Puymbroeck is a seasoned data science and machine learning professional with extensive experience in various roles. Currently serving as Competence Lead for ML & MLOps at Vectr.Consulting and Tensr, Jony specializes in automating ML pipelines using Vertex AI and implementing MLOps practices. Proficient in data science, deep learning, and data engineering, Jony has utilized techniques such as CNNs, RNNs, and natural language processing across multiple platforms, including Google Cloud Platform and AWS. Previous positions include data engineer roles at De Lijn and data scientist positions at CM - Christelijke Mutualiteit and Vlaamse Overheid, focusing on handwritten text recognition and document analysis. Jony earned a Master's degree in Software Engineering and a Bachelor's degree in Informatica from the University of Antwerp.
