Roland Zuidema

Roland Zuidema is an experienced educational leader and consultant with a robust background in organizational improvement and governance. Currently serving as Directeur onderwijs a.i. at De Meerwaarde since November 2022, Roland also operates as Directeur - eigenaar of Zuidema & Partners since February 2017, focusing on enhancing organizational effectiveness in complex environments. Since August 2017, Roland has held the position of Voorzitter raad van toezicht at the Vivente-groep, overseeing 15 Christian schools in Zwolle. Roland is the Founder and Chairman of Stichting Mark, dedicated to integrating individuals with autism in Sub-Saharan Africa, and has been an influential board member in various organizations such as Stichting Sprank and Samenwerkingsverband Sterk VO ZO-Drenthe. Roland’s previous roles include Interim Director at Het Plein - Antoon Schellens and Country Director for ZOA Burundi. Educational credentials include a Master’s degree in Sociology from the University of Groningen.
