Lan Zhu

Lan Zhu is a Senior Lecturer in Neuroscience at De Montfort University since February 2015, with previous roles as a Lecturer in Biomedical Science and Medical Science. Prior experience includes serving as a Research Associate at King's College London, where research focused on pain mechanisms and the development of a microchannel neuroprosthesis, and at the University of Leicester, investigating neural mechanisms through genetic and electrophysiological techniques. Lan Zhu also held a Postdoctoral Research Fellow position at the University of Torino, focusing on brain learning and memory, producing seven publications, and began an academic career as an Assistant Lecturer in Human Physiology at Tongji Medical University. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Neuroscience from Università degli Studi di Torino and multiple PGCerts in Higher Education from De Montfort University.
