Mark Tucker

Mark Tucker has extensive experience in project and programme management, currently serving as the Head of Portfolio Management at De Montfort University since August 2014. In this role, Mark drives strategic project delivery, ensures governance, and fosters transparency across a variety of initiatives within the Project Management Office. Previous positions at De Montfort University include Senior Business Change Project Manager and Business Change Project Manager, where responsibilities included managing the Strategic Change Board and leading complex transformation programmes aligned with institutional strategies. Mark's earlier career includes roles at CFE (Research and Consulting) Ltd, Somerset County Council, North Wiltshire District Council, and Great Western Enterprise, with a foundation in support and management of projects across various sectors. Mark holds a BA (Hons) in Politics from the University of Wales, Swansea.
