Richard Strang

Richard Strang is a seasoned professional in the field of pharmacy with extensive experience across multiple organizations. Currently serving as a Board Member and Vice Chair of the Membership Committee at the Royal Pharmaceutical Society since June 2020, Richard is actively involved in various groups focused on mentoring, workforce wellbeing, and curriculum development. As a Senior Educator with NHS Education for Scotland, Richard leads the Foundation Training Year curriculum and also contributes as a Pharmacy Visiting Lecturer at De Montfort University and an Associate at Education for Health, enhancing professional support for healthcare practitioners. Previous roles include Advanced Specialist Pharmacist at University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust and Committee Member for the HIV Pharmacy Association. Richard holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Pharmacy from The University of Manchester and a Masters in Pharmacy from the University of Strathclyde.
