Sian Brewis

Sian Brewis is an experienced communications professional with a strong background in media relations and content creation. Currently serving as the Senior Media Officer at De Montfort University since January 2013, Sian focuses on promoting the achievements of students, research, and academics through innovative campaigns and stakeholder engagement. In addition, Sian operates Cooks Lane Herbs, producing handcrafted herbal soaps and growing herbs sold at markets. With previous roles at Leicester Mercury, including Property Editor and News Editor, Sian has developed extensive expertise in journalism and media strategy. Sian holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Public Relations, complemented by CIPR qualifications obtained between 2014 and 2015.
