Tanya Flanagan

Tanya Flanagan is a dedicated professional currently serving as a Student Learning and Teaching Consultant at De Montfort University since February 2021. In parallel, Tanya has been an Academic Notetaker at First Class Support since February 2020, providing written learning instruments for university students with disabilities. Previously, Tanya acted as a Course Representative at De Montfort University from October 2015 to May 2017, advocating for student perspectives on the English Language programme, and worked as a Learning Assistant at Dorothy Goodman School, offering support to secondary school pupils with special educational needs. Tanya holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Forensic Linguistics from De Montfort University, along with a Master’s degree in English and a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from the same institution, alongside an Access to Higher Education Diploma from North Warwickshire and South Leicestershire College.
