Jan Smit

Jan Smit is a seasoned professional in financial risk management, currently serving as a Senior Risk Manager in the Financial Markets Division at De Nederlandsche Bank since January 2014. Jan also holds experience as a Supervisor Specialist in the Division Pension Fund Supervision. Prior to this role, Jan worked at ING Direct France as a Market Risk Analyst and gained further expertise in market risk as a Market Risk Analyst and Risk Trainee at ING. Jan's education includes a Master’s degree in Theoretical Physics from the University of Groningen and a Certificate in Quantitative Finance from the CQF Institute. Additionally, Jan completed secondary education with a focus on Natural Sciences and Technology at Esdal College.
