Laura van de Werfhorst

Laura van de Werfhorst, FRM, is a Senior Policy Advisor at De Nederlandsche Bank since August 2022, specializing in financial regulation for banks with a focus on risks related to crypto exposures and climate change. Previously, Laura served as a Policy Advisor at the European Central Bank and as a Financial Stability Expert at De Nederlandsche Bank. Laura has extensive experience in supervisory policy for banks, investment firms, and investment funds, starting as a trainee in financial markets and banking supervision and later as an intern in the International Financial Architecture Department. Laura's academic background includes two Master’s degrees in Economics and Finance, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Business Economics, all from the University of Groningen.
