Iwan Blokzijl

Iwan Blokzijl is an experienced creative strategist and art director currently working at De Nieuwe Zaak since 2005, responsible for user experience, interaction, concept, creation, and visual communication for various projects. Additionally, Iwan is a music producer and composer with Morgendust, an indie rock band established in 2019, which fuses 80s influences with modern rock. Previous experience includes producing and composing for Soulstar from 2008 to 2015, and serving as an art director for Clockwork and Wehkamp between 2001 and 2005. Iwan began the professional journey as a graphic designer at Ordina and Insite from 1999 to 2001. Iwan holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Saxion University of Applied Sciences, completed in 1997, and a secondary education diploma from Menso Alting College, achieved in 1990.
