Mario Cesari

Director at De Nora S.p.A.

Swiss and Italian citizen, born on October 17, 1967, he obtained 1992 a master's degree in industrial engineering at Politecnico di Milano with a thesis at Frauenhofer IOA in Stuttgart and a master's degree in industrial engineering business administration at Instead in 1997. He started his career in 1992 in the automotive industry at Valeo in France and Asia. In 1997 he joined the consulting firm McKinsey & Co. in the Paris and Geneva offices. From 2001 to 2009, with various qualifications up to the executive director position, he is part of the investment team at private equity funds Berkshire Partners in Boston and Vestar Capital in Paris. Since 2009 he has held the position of Executive Vice-President head of corporate development at TBG, a private industrial holding company, where he gained extensive experience in investment, extraordinary transactions, and strategic business development. He has been a member of De Nora's Board of Directors since 2011. He is also a member of the boards of directors of De Agostini S.p.A., Light Conversion UAB, Piovan S.p.A., and several entities of the TBG group.
