Yahel Ben-David

Yahel Ben-David, Ph.D, is an accomplished leader in technology and research, currently serving as CEO and Chief Scientist at Further Reach Inc. since February 2014. As Executive Director and Co-Founder of De Novo Group since September 2008, Yahel focuses on transforming innovative research into sustainable solutions for developing communities. Yahel founded AirJaldi to empower communities through wireless networks and co-founded the Tibetan Technology Center, serving as CTO. Previous experience includes a role as a researcher and instructor at the University of California at Berkeley's Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences from August 2009 to December 2015, and several leadership positions in network and security at Zootec and Xpert. Yahel holds a Doctorate and a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences from the University of California, Berkeley.
