Ellen van Ginkel

Ellen van Ginkel is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in corporate communications and sustainability. Currently serving as the Head of Communications & Corporate Affairs and Sustainability for Unilever Ice Cream since February 2020, Ellen is responsible for leading teams that enhance external visibility and promote sustainability initiatives. Previously, Ellen held roles at Unilever as Head of Communications & Corporate Affairs for Nutrition and Ice Cream and as Communications Director for Foods & Refreshment. Ellen has also contributed to Ahold Delhaize as Director of External Communications post-merger, and has experience at KLM as Online Reputation & Content Manager for Social Media and Senior Press Officer. Earlier positions include serving as Press Officer for Maison de la France and a trainee at the Dutch Embassy in Paris. Ellen holds a Master’s degree in French Language and Literature from the University of Groningen.
