Frederiek Vlaming

Frederiek Vlaming, de, is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in international law and human rights advocacy. Currently serving as a member of the Board of Advisors for Pro Bono Connect and the European Legal Support Centre, Frederiek also holds the position of Project Leader at De Regenboog Groep and Director of the Nuhanovic Foundation. As a co-founder of the Syria Legal Network NL, Frederiek focuses on transitional justice and the documentation of war crimes in Syria. With a background as a senior researcher and lecturer at the University of Amsterdam, Frederiek has significant expertise in international tribunals, war reparations, and related litigation. Past roles include contributions to Amnesty International and the founding of the Foundation Lawyers for Lawyers. Academic credentials include a BA/MA in Dutch Law and International Law from UvA/VU.
