Doug Moore

Doug Moore, SPHR has a diverse work experience in various HR roles throughout their career. Doug started their career as an Electronic Components Buyer at Avnet in 1987. Later, they worked as a National Account Specialist at Boise Office Solutions, where they managed a large national account and successfully grew sales. In 1995, they became a Human Resources Manager/Generalist at EyeOTA, KATA Eyewear, Isaac Mizrahi Eyewear, and Liz Claiborne Optics. In 2003, they joined The Home Depot as a District Human Resources Manager and oversaw 10 stores in Los Angeles. In 2010, they worked as an HR Consultant at Taproot Foundation, where they handled various HR responsibilities such as HR strategy, staff development, and performance management. From 2009 to 2016, Doug served as a Managing Member of Human Resources at WDS, LLC. Later, they became the Director of Human Resources at Kate Somerville Skincare, LLC from 2011 to 2019. Currently, they are the Human Resources Director at De Rigo REM, starting from September 2019 till date.

Doug Moore, SPHR, obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from Pepperdine Graziadio Business School in 2002. In 2010, they received their SPHR certification from the HR Certification Institute (HRCI), specializing in Strategic Management, Employee and Labor Relations, Risk Management, HRD, Workforce Planning, and Total Rewards Benefits. In the same year, they also completed an Advanced Certification in CHI Indicators™ through The Gabriel Institute and Teamability.com. Doug further enhanced their knowledge in financial markets, specifically Elliot Wave and Forex, through Optionetics and Profit Strategies. In 2015, they attained the SHRM-SCP certification from the Society of Human Resource Management, focusing on Human Resources Management and Services. Additionally, they hold several other certifications, including the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) Certification from the HR Certification Institute (HRCI) in 2010 and the SHRM - Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) certification in 2016.
