Gerald Segantini

Gerald Segantini is an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in engineering and project execution, particularly in the fields of biofuels, civil engineering, and water treatment. Currently serving at De Smet Engineers & Contractors since November 2016, Segantini has successfully managed various EPC and EPCM projects, including bioethanol and biodiesel plants. Previous roles include Project Manager at BESIX Middle East and Engineering Manager at Cytec, where responsibilities ranged from project oversight to engineering department management. With a Master’s degree in Chemical Process from the Faculté Polytechnique de Mons, Segantini has a proven record of coordinating engineering teams, ensuring project completion within budget and schedule, and driving procurement and engineering efficiencies across multiple organizations.
