Wolfgang Ranfft

Wolfgang Ranfft is a seasoned professional in the bio-based products sector, currently serving as the Vice President of Bio Based Products and Product Manager for Ethanol at De Smet Engineers & Contractors (DSEC) since December 2011. Prior to this role, Wolfgang held the position of Managing Director at Frings Austria/Desmet Ballestra Ethanol from June 2006 to November 2011, focusing on technology provision for yeast, ethanol production (both 1st and 2nd generation), and organic and amino acids. Wolfgang Ranfft earned a Dr.-Ing. degree in Food Technology and Processing from the Technical University of Munich.
