Thijs Keukenmeester began their work experience in 2006 at ClickValue, where they started as an intern and eventually became an experienced internet consultant. Thijs worked on consultancy projects within large organizations and also provided hands-on internet marketing and optimization for various webshop clients. In 2011, they worked as a Web Analyst (interim) at Nuon, where they provided web data insights and performed AB testing on the company's websites. In 2012, Thijs held a position as a Channel Manager Analytics (interim) at Coöperatie VGZ, where they managed tracking code setups, designed web analytics reports, and provided insights for improvement. That same year, they also started their own business, FactBasedMarketing.nl, where they helped ambitious organizations improve their websites and internet marketing activities based on factual data and statistics. Finally, in 2016, Thijs became the Head of Marketing at dé VakantieDiscounter (Elmar Reizen), where they currently hold a position.
Thijs Keukenmeester's education history includes obtaining a Mini MBA in Marketing from Marketing Week in 2019. Previously, they completed their MSc in Business Informatics at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU Amsterdam) from 2005 to 2007. Prior to that, they earned a BSc in Information Sciences from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU Amsterdam) between 2000 and 2005. Additionally, Thijs Keukenmeester has several additional certifications in Google Adwords, Google Analytics, Omniture SiteCatalyst, and Webtrends Technical Professional Essentials.
