Erik van Tongeren

Erik van Tongeren is an experienced professional in the field of therapy and social work, currently serving as MST-PSB Supervisor and therapist at de Viersprong since 2007, specializing in Multi System Therapy for Problem Sexual Behavior focused on treating juvenile sex offenders aged 10-18. Prior to this, Erik held various therapeutic roles at RMPI - De Grote Rivieren, including MST-Therapist and Systemic Therapist, and also worked in supportive roles for children with psychiatric disorders and those living in protected housing. Starting a career in technical sales, Erik transitioned into social work, obtaining relevant degrees in Social Work, Social Pedagogy, and Systemic Therapy, underscoring a strong foundation in both therapeutic practices and interpersonal support.
