Wendy Sjonger

Wendy Sjonger is an accomplished risk management professional with extensive experience in the financial sector. Since January 2016, Wendy has served as the Lead Integrated Risk Management at de Volksbank, overseeing a team focused on ICAAP, ILAAP, capital stress testing, and recovery and resolution planning. In addition, Wendy holds the role of Board Member and Finance & Risk Committee member at Stichting pensioenfonds SNS REAAL. Prior to their current positions, Wendy worked at ABN AMRO, where roles spanned from Head of Financial Consultancy to Vice President, specializing in Basel II strategy and implementation. Wendy also has a diverse educational background, including a Master of Science in Risk Management for Financial Institutions from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and a postgraduate degree in Law from Leiden University, among others.
