Laura Van Der Noort

Laura van der Noort is a seasoned sustainability advisor with extensive experience in energy transition projects. Currently serving as a Senior Advisor on gas-free initiatives at De WarmteTransitieMakers since October 2019, Laura focuses on supporting municipalities, network operators, developers, housing corporations, and community initiatives. Prior to this role, Laura worked as an Energy and Sustainability Advisor at Gemeente Utrecht from June 2016 to October 2019, managing projects aimed at enhancing urban sustainability. Additionally, Laura contributed as a Sustainability Consultant at IVAM UvA BV from January 2008 to June 2016, providing advice on the sustainable development of neighborhoods and business areas, while also developing a sustainability profiling method. Laura began their professional journey as a Mathematics Teacher at SSL/Northgo College from 2005 to 2008, after earning a Master’s degree in Physics from the University of Amsterdam in 2007.
