Juan David Figueroa

Juan David Figueroa has a diverse work experience in the creative industry. Juan David started their career as a Junior Designer at Páramo Presenta / Sueño Estéreo SAS and later became a Senior Art Director for the company. During their time there, they led a team of designers in creating key visuals for concerts and events. Juan David then worked as an Art and Creative Director at +PLAY Studio, where they collaborated with clients such as Motorola, Uber, Nike, and Adidas. Juan also gained experience as a Senior Art & Motion Director at Cultura Profética, contributing to the success of the album "Sobrevolando" by directing the music video for its first single. Juan David worked as an Independent Study for MFA Computer Arts at Scatter, where they learned about volumetric filmmaking and integrated it into Unity 3D. Most recently, Juan joined DE-YAN as an Art Director. Juan David also had a role as a Visual Artist at Ela Minus.

Juan David Figueroa began their education in 2008 at Universidad de Los Andes, where they pursued a degree in Design with a focus on Design and Visual Communications. Juan David completed their studies in 2013. During their time at Universidad de Los Andes, Figueroa also participated in an academic exchange program at Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México in 2012.

In 2019, Figueroa furthered their education by enrolling at the School of Visual Arts. Juan David pursued a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in Computer Arts with a specialization in Experimental Art and Motion Graphics. Juan David completed their MFA in 2022, concluding their formal education.
