Michiel Last

Michiel Last is a seasoned Business Controller with extensive experience in healthcare management. Currently employed at De Zellingen since September 2020, Michiel previously served as a Business Controller at St. Antonius Hospital Nieuwegein from January 2016 to August 2020, where additional responsibilities included the role of DBC Adviseur. Prior experience includes a consultancy position at Performation and advisory roles focused on healthcare logistics and project leadership at Groene Hart Ziekenhuis. Michiel has also participated in a two-year Management Trainee Program, gaining insights into policy and project management across various hospital departments. Early career experience included a role as a Department/Food Assistant at De Zellingen from 2004 to 2011, which sparked a passion for healthcare. Michiel holds a Master of Science in Healthcare Management from Erasmus University Rotterdam, earned between 2005 and 2012, alongside completing VWO from 1999 to 2005.
