Jip Otten

Jip Otten is currently a Master Thesis Student at ENTRANCE - Centre of Expertise Energy, since September 2024. Otten has extensive experience in various roles including as an Office Assistant at De Zwarte Hond Groningen B.V. since May 2018, where responsibilities included secretary and receptionist tasks, organizing catering, and administrative duties. Previous experience includes a Research Trainee position at Avebe, conducting research on filtration methods and sustainable utilization of residual streams, and an internship at M&G Group offering advice on production improvements. Otten also co-founded The Stand-Up Company, focusing on entrepreneurship and sales. Educational qualifications include ongoing master's studies in Business Administration and International Business, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering and Management from Hanze University and a minor in Smart Manufacturing.
