Giovanni Maria Scarabelli

Giovanni Maria Scarabelli is a seasoned fund manager with extensive experience in real estate investment management. Currently employed at DeA Capital Real Estate SGR since January 2022, Giovanni manages logistics-focused funds such as GO Italia VI and GO Italia VIII. Previously, Giovanni served as a fund manager at Antirion SGR from September 2017 to December 2021, overseeing a retail fund that included three shopping malls and guiding asset management, fund analysis, and related operations. Giovanni's earlier roles included collaboration in a family-owned organic grocery business and work as an analyst/consultant at Larry Smith Italia, where expertise in feasibility projects and due diligence for retail real estate assets was developed. Giovanni holds a Master’s degree in Building Management from Politecnico di Milano and a Bachelor's degree in Architecture from the same institution. Additional academic experience includes studying European Spatial Planning at Blekinge Institute of Technology in Sweden.
