Craig Self is currently the VP of Business Development at Deaconess Health System. Craig has over 25 years of experience in the healthcare industry, with a focus on business development and hospital operations.

Self began their career in 1988 as a paramedic and education coordinator at Houston Healthcare. Craig later transitioned into hospital administration, serving as the director of operations at Park Medical Center and then as the emergency medical services coordinator for the state of Ohio. In 1995, they joined Premier Physician Services as the VP of operations. Craig remained with Premier until 2002, when the company was acquired by Teamhealth.

In 2007, Self joined Premier Health Partners as the VP of business development and hospital operations. Craig was promoted to system VP of business development in 2012 and then to SVP and chief strategy and business development officer in 2015. Craig left Premier in 2018 to join Deaconess Health System.

Craig Self has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Franklin University, a Bachelor's Degree from Franklin University in Health/Health Care Administration/Management, and an Associate's Degree from Darton College in Emergency Medical Services - Paramedic.
