Mathew Gaug

Mathew Gaug, MHA MS CHCIO CDH-E, currently serves as Chief Operating Officer for Deaconess Health System's Indiana Region and System VP of Laboratory Services, overseeing daily operations across multiple healthcare facilities and focusing on enhancing patient care and operational efficiency. Prior to this role, Mathew held various leadership positions at Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center as Chief Information Officer, coordinating IT operations and managing significant budgets, and at Lima Memorial Health System, directing IT operations and managing a team. Mathew began a career at Cleveland Clinic, where responsibilities included leading IT functions across numerous physician practices. Mathew holds a Master’s degree in Health/Health Care Administration Management from the University of Phoenix, a Master of Science in Management Information Systems from Baker College Center for Graduate Studies, and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Baker College of Flint.
