Kayla Dunphe has extensive work experience in marketing and communications. Kayla began their career as a Marketing Intern at Dover-Foxcroft Congregational Church in 2010, followed by another marketing internship at Piscataquis Regional YMCA. In 2011, they worked as a Marketing and Sales Intern at B2W Software and then transitioned to a Teller role at TD Bank Group. From 2012 to 2015, Kayla served as the Brand Advocate Director at YMCA of Southern Maine, overseeing brand management and successfully completing a brand transition audit. In 2015, they joined TideSmart Global as a Marketing Specialist, supporting B2B marketing for McKesson. Currently, Kayla is employed at Dead River Company as a Marketing Communications Specialist, where they manage digital marketing campaigns, social media accounts, website updates, email marketing, and blog maintenance.

Kayla Dunphe attended Foxcroft Academy from 2003 to 2007 and obtained their High School Diploma. Kayla then pursued higher education and enrolled at the University of New Hampshire from 2007 to 2011. During this period, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Communication and Media Studies. In December 2020, Kayla obtained a Full Stack Web Development Certification from the University of New Hampshire.
