Dennis Bartok

Dennis Bartok is a seasoned film executive and co-founder of Deaf Crocodile Films, a boutique distribution and restoration company focused on independent cinema. With extensive experience in the nonprofit film sector, Bartok served as Executive Director of The Philosophical Research Society, where diverse cultural events are presented, and held multiple leadership roles at American Cinematheque, including Interim Executive Director. As Chief Strategy Officer and co-founder of Arbelos, Bartok contributed to art-house film restoration and distribution, while also directing and writing films, such as the horror feature "Nails." Bartok's written work includes the acclaimed book "A Thousand Cuts," and has participated as a screenwriting advisor and guest lecturer at various institutions. Bartok holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Film and Television from New York University.
