Gillian Morbey OBE possesses extensive experience in leadership roles within organizations focusing on disability and sensory impairment. As the retired Chief Executive of Sense and Sense International since 2018, Gillian described the role as a magical experience within creative and energetic environments. Currently, Gillian serves as President of Deafblind International, an umbrella organization supporting global initiatives related to deafblindness. Furthermore, Gillian held the position of Chief Executive at Sense Scotland from 1985 to 2010 and contributed as Vice Chair of the Family Fund Trust, along with serving on the National Disability Council and the All Party Disability Group. Educational credentials include a BA (Hons) in Psychology from the University of Strathclyde.
