Ajit Kumar

Ajit Kumar is a Research Fellow at Deakin University since July 2022, previously serving as an Associate Research Fellow. Prior experience includes a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay from March 2021 to June 2022 and a Research Associate from March 2020 to September 2020 at the same institution. Ajit completed a Ph.D. as a Research Scholar at IIT Bombay and Monash University, focusing on the development of Room-Temperature Sodium-Sulfur batteries, from August 2015 to August 2020. Prior to this, Ajit was a Lecturer in the Department of Metallurgical and Materials Engineering at Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies from June 2011 to July 2015. Ajit holds an M.Tech in Materials Science and Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, completed in May 2011.
