Antonio Robles-Kelly is a distinguished academic and researcher with extensive experience in artificial intelligence and machine learning. Currently serving as Group Leader and Scientific Advisor at Defence Science and Technology Group since August 2022, Antonio maintains a role as Honorary Professor and Professor of AI and Machine Learning at Deakin University since August 2018. Previously, Antonio held positions at the Australian National University as an Adjunct Associate Professor and Adjunct Research Fellow from January 2005 to December 2019, and at CSIRO's Data61 as Principal Researcher from July 2016 to July 2018. Additionally, Antonio contributed to NICTA as Principal Researcher, Senior Researcher, and Researcher from January 2005 to June 2016, and served as Conjoint Senior Lecturer at UNSW@ADFA from July 2009 to August 2011. Early academic experience includes a role as Research Associate at the University of York from October 2002 to December 2004. Antonio holds a PhD in Computer Science from the University of York and a BSc in Electronics and Telecommunications from Tecnológico de Monterrey.
