Elizabeth Johnson

Elizabeth Johnson has an extensive academic career, currently serving as Senior Deputy Vice-Chancellor Academic at Deakin University since September 2014, having previously held several leadership roles there, including Deputy Vice-Chancellor Academic and Pro Vice-Chancellor Teaching and Learning. Prior to this, Elizabeth Johnson was Director at the ACDS TL Centre from October 2013 to December 2018 and Acting Dean of the Faculty of Science, Technology and Engineering at La Trobe University, where Elizabeth Johnson also served as Associate Dean Academic from 2008 until August 2014. Elizabeth Johnson holds a Graduate Certificate in Education from La Trobe University and degrees including a Bachelor of Agricultural Science (Hons) and a PhD in Plant Biochemistry from the University of Melbourne, along with a PhD focused on the synthesis of seed storage proteins in legumes.
