Katie Rowe

Katie Rowe is an accomplished academic in Sport Management at Deakin University, where involvement spans from Lecturer to Associate Professor since July 2008. Rowe completed a PhD in Sport Development in 2013 and specializes in teaching sport development and performance-focused units within the Sport Management program. Additional experience includes roles as a Casual Academic and Research Assistant at Basketball Victoria from July 2017 to May 2023, and serving as a Board Director for the Sport Management Association of Australia and New Zealand from July 2011 to December 2013. Prior roles also include Project Officer at Health by Design and Project Manager. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Applied Science in Exercise and Sport Science, alongside a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) in Marketing pertaining to Junior Sport Participation, both from Deakin University.
