Penelope Hunt

Penelope Hunt is an experienced academic and photographic specialist with a notable career in teaching and program development spanning over three decades. Currently serving as a Sessional Academic Lecturer in Photography at Deakin University since March 2019, Penelope's teaching repertoire includes undergraduate and master's level courses in Digital and Analogue Photography. Her previous role at Arts Project Australia involved developing digital programs for artists and managing the registry of a significant collection of artworks. Penelope also operated a self-employed photographic business and directed an interior and architectural photography firm for nearly a decade. An academic scholar, Penelope is currently a PhD candidate at Monash University and holds advanced degrees in photography and fine art from prestigious institutions.
