Lisa Simpkins

Lisa Simpkins is the founder and CEO of DealCaptains, Inc. Lisa has over 20 years of experience in the travel and technology industries, with a proven track record of creating profitable business growth through the creation of successful sales and marketing strategies.

Lisa began their career in the travel industry in 2008 as the Director of Sales and Business Development for Hess Corporate Travel. In this role, they were responsible for fostering relationships with new prospects and evaluating their profitability to accelerate signed sales revenue growth. Lisa also mentored colleagues to help them achieve their professional development goals.

In 2016, Lisa took on the role of Director of Business Development for Carlson Wagonlit Travel. In this role, they were responsible for discovering and nurturing a pipeline of new sales prospects, while delivering $70M in new sales in 2016 and 2017. Lisa also provided best-in-market strategies, client solutions, and travel data-driven intelligence to lower costs.

In June 2015, Lisa was elected Mayor of Interlaken, New Jersey. Lisa served in this role for four years before returning to the travel industry in 2019.

Lisa is a passionate advocate for the travel industry and is dedicated to helping their clients save money on their travel expenses. Lisa is an expert in identifying cost savings opportunities and has a deep understanding of the latest travel technologies.

Lisa Simpkins earned their BS in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services from Wayne State University. Lisa also has a High School Diploma from Grosse Pointe South High School. Lisa has multiple certifications in Process Improvement & Operations Management as well as Business Administration, Management and Operations from Utah Valley University. Lisa is also certified in Pitching Yourself from LinkedIn, Solutions Based Selling from AchieveForum, Challenger Sales from Challenger, Certified Corporate Travel Executives (CCTE) from GBTA | Global Business Travel Association, Certified ARC Specialist from Airlines Reporting Corporation (ARC), Certified Travel Counselor (CTC) from ASTA, and Certified Travel Industry Specialist from Associated Travel School.
