Amy Showalter

Amy Showalter has a diverse work experience spanning various roles. Amy worked as a Director of Finance and Accounting at DealerBuilt starting in May 2017. Amy'sresponsibilities included overseeing financial processes such as general ledger maintenance, month and year-end closing, cash management, payroll administration, accounts payable and accounts receivable. Amy also managed commissions reporting and reconciliation, fixed asset management, and employee expense report processing. Amy supported budgeting efforts, ensured proper accounting methods, and made recommendations for accounting best practices. Amy improved systems and procedures and provided financial reports and key insights to leadership.

Prior to their role at DealerBuilt, Amy worked as an Unemployment Tax Field Auditor at Iowa Workforce Development from October 2016 to May 2017. Before that, they were a Business Manager at Aerial Services, Inc. from February 2012 to October 2016 where they administered the accounting system, maintained the general ledger, supervised payroll, accounts receivable, and accounts payable, and prepared financial statements.

Amy also served as a Motorcycle Education Instructor at Hawkeye Community College from March 2012 to September 2016. Amy gained experience in tax preparation as a Seasonal Tax Associate at BerganKDV in February 2013 and H&R Block from November 2011 to April 2012. Additionally, they worked as the Rider's Edge Program Manager, Marketing, E-Commerce & Events Coordinator at Silver Eagle Harley-Davidson from March 2006 to February 2012. Amy also had experience as an Accounting Associate at Rabo AgriFinance from September 2008 to May 2009 and as a Sales Associate at Zale from November 2005 to March 2006.

Amy Showalter attended the University of Northern Iowa from 2003 to 2007, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Finance & Real Estate. Amy later pursued further education at the same university from 2007 to 2008, obtaining another Bachelor of Arts degree, this time in Accounting.
