Karl Solano

Karl Solano is a User Experience Designer at DealerOn since February 2023, where responsibilities include prototyping visual user interfaces and collaborating with designers and stakeholders on product functionality. Simultaneously, Karl serves as a Foundations Mentor at Avocademy (YC W22), guiding students in design principles and user journey concepts. Previously, Karl worked as a Freelance Product Designer at The Chill Initiative and held the position of Associate Product Designer at Evention, focusing on user-centered design solutions. Karl completed a User Experience Design Immersive at General Assembly and has a BS in Biology from Loyola University Chicago, along with an AAS from City Colleges of Chicago-Wilbur Wright College. Earlier experience includes roles in brand development, restaurant management, and inquiry response coordination.
