Tariq Esmail

Tariq Esmail currently serves as VP of Sales at DealMaker since January 2024. Previously, Tariq held the position of Head of Sales at Accord from March 2021 to January 2024 and served as Sales & GTM Lead. Prior experience includes a role as Sales Manager at Shopify from February 2020 to March 2021, and Head of Business Development at League Inc. from February 2018 to February 2020, along with advisory responsibilities at WoTT during the same period. Tariq contributed as a mentor at Techstars in late 2018, and held multiple positions at Clio, including Sales Manager and Account Executive, from June 2016 to February 2018. Earlier career roles include Enterprise Account Executive and Account Executive at Top Hat from August 2014 to January 2016, Account Executive at OutRank by Rogers, and Account Executive at marcus evans Group. Tariq holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Psychology from Western University and has an educational background from University of Toronto Schools and TFS - Canada’s International School.
