Tabish Rizvi is the Co-Founder of DealStart. Tabish has over 15 years of experience in the real estate industry.

Tabish started their career at Lehman Brothers, where they worked for 5 years as a Senior Advisor on the Official Committee of Unsecured Creditors. In this role, they managed a $23.3 billion real estate portfolio and was responsible for implementing a strategy that would maximize value for the company. As a result of their efforts, they were able to recover $16 billion from the liquidation of the portfolio – $11.6 billion more than what was originally anticipated.

After Lehman Brothers, Tabish moved on to Onyx Holdings, where they worked for 2 years. Tabish then joined Peloton Street as their Chief Investment Officer, where they spent 4 years working on private equity real estate investments.

In 2014, Tabish co-founded DealStart – a ‘FinTech’ startup that allows accredited investors to access private placement and syndication deals for real estate debt and equity. Under Tabish’s leadership, DealStart has become one of the most successful platforms in the space, with a wide network of broker-dealers, registered investment advisors, and securities wholesalers.

Tabish Rizvi graduated from the Columbia Business School in 2005 with a degree in real estate finance. Tabish also holds a bachelor's degree in economics, finance, and management from the Wharton School, which they received in 1998. Rizvi began their education at the Montclair Kimberly Academy (MKA) before transferring to The Pingry School. Tabish is also certified by the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) in Series 63 and Series 7.
