Sherri Helmond

Sherri Helmond is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles. Currently serving as AFO Associate Director at Dean Dorton since November 2019, Sherri previously held positions as AFO Manager and Controller at Airdrie Stud from September 2017 to October 2019. Prior to that, Sherri owned and operated The Little Gym of Lexington between June 2013 and March 2018, and briefly worked as a homemaker from April 2012 to May 2013. Earlier career highlights include positions in operations at Don Jacobs and Dealers' Financial Services, LLC, where Sherri notably held the role of Senior Vice President of Operations from March 1996 to February 2011. Sherri holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting from Eastern Kentucky University, earned between 1991 and 1995.
