Sean Dyer

Sean Dyer, MS, CSP has a diverse work experience in the field of occupational safety and health. Sean is currently working at DeAngelis Diamond as the Director of Health & Safety, responsible for managing the safety program at construction projects. Prior to this, they served as the Senior Safety and Health Manager and National Safety and Health Manager at the same company.

Before joining DeAngelis Diamond, Sean held leadership roles at various organizations. Sean served as the Vice President (former President & Secretary) at the American Society of Safety Professionals (ASSP), where they contributed to the advancement of occupational safety and health worldwide.

Sean also worked as a Senior Environmental Scientist at Advanced Building Forensics, where they conducted industrial hygiene studies and managed building science projects. Additionally, they served as a Safety Specialist at Leading Edge Safety Group, LLC, overseeing client safety plans and conducting safety audits.

Previously, Sean served as the Senior Consultant/Director of Industrial Hygiene at American Management Resources Corporation, where they managed EHS programs and provided cost-effective solutions to clients. Sean also worked as an Environmental Consultant at Clean Air Inspections/Infrared Consultants, conducting air quality and industrial hygiene studies.

Early in their career, Sean worked as an Emissions Compliance Inspector at Air Compliance Testing, Inc., providing emission testing services to various industries.

Sean Dyer, MS, CSP has a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Marine Biology from the University of North Carolina Wilmington (1996-2000). Sean also holds a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Industrial Hygiene from Montana Technological University (2010-2014). In addition, they pursued Public Health studies at the University of South Florida from 2008 to 2010. Sean has obtained certifications such as OSHA Authorized Construction Trainer from the Southeastern OTI Education Center (2021), First Aid/CPR/AED Instructor from the American Heart Association (2020), and is a Certified Safety Professional (CSP) certified by the Board of Certified Safety Professionals. Sean has also received training in areas like 40-Hour HAZWOPER and Sampling and Evaluating Airborne Asbestos Dust.
