Miki Owens Johns

Miki Owens Johns has held various roles throughout their work experience. Miki started their career as a Senior Accountant at Federated Department Stores in 1996 and then moved on to Globe Business Resources in 1998. In 1999, they joined Grant Thornton as an Accounting/Financial Analyst Manager until 2002. Miki then worked at UnitedHealth Group as an Accounting/Financial Analyst Manager from 2002 to 2005. In 2012, they became the Controller at Grandin Properties until 2014. Finally, Miki joined DeanHouston, Inc. in 2016, initially as a Financial Controller and later promoted to the Chief Financial Officer position in September 2020.

Miki Owens Johns completed a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Cincinnati Carl H. Lindner College of Business from 1993 to 1996. Before that, they pursued Accounting & Finance studies at The Ohio State University for a year in 1992-1993, but did not obtain a degree.
