Robert X. Fogarty

Robert X Fogarty is a seasoned storyteller and entrepreneur with extensive experience in community engagement and social initiatives. As the CEO and Founding Storyteller at Dear World since March 2011, Fogarty leads efforts to train and develop top storytellers. Previously, Fogarty founded Dear New Orleans, a project dedicated to capturing personal narratives from the city's diverse residents, and co-founded EVACUTEER DOT ORG, which supports evacuation efforts for New Orleans. Additionally, experience includes serving as Community Aide and Volunteers in Government Coordinator for Mayor C. Ray Nagin’s office through AmeriCorps VISTA. Educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from the University of Oregon and earlier studies at Rockhurst University.
