Kristen Cerer has a diverse work experience in graphic design. Kristen started their career at Elek-Tek in 1995, where they designed catalogs and various marketing materials. From 1996 to 2001, they worked at Chicago Sports Media, where they produced a bi-monthly magazine and managed a team of graphic artists. Kristen then worked as a graphic designer at Zurich Life and Chase Insurance from 2001 to 2006, where they created marketing materials, designed websites, and produced web graphics. In 2006, Kristen joined Dearborn Group as the Lead Graphic Designer in Corporate Communications. Their responsibilities include creating marketing materials, e-newsletters, and web banners for various products. Kristen also undertook the rebranding process during a company name change in 2012. Additionally, they worked as a freelance designer for Shooting Star Media and the Running Network, where they designed and produced magazines. Kristen also has experience as a volunteer alpine ski patroller at Grand Geneva Ski Patrol.
Kristen Cerer obtained a Certificate in Web Design and Development from The Art Institutes in 2006. Prior to that, they attended Southern Illinois University, Carbondale from 1991 to 1995, earning a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Design and Visual Communications, with a focus on General and Russian studies. In 1994, they briefly studied Russian Language and Architecture at Vladimir State Technical University.
