Rachel Lauren started their work experience as a Research Analyst at iAngels in 2015, where they conducted due diligence and industry analyses for potential portfolio companies. Rachel then joined Anthemis Group as a Fintech Advisory/Venture Capital Analyst, focusing on educating clients about financial technology and investing in Fintech startups. In 2016, Rachel worked as a Valuation Intern at FMV Opinions, Inc., assisting in building financial models and analyzing financial statements. Rachel later joined Credit Suisse as a TMT Equity Research Summer Analyst in 2017 and as an Equity Research Associate in 2018, specializing in software and cybersecurity. Rachel also had a brief role as a Business Development/Account Manager at The Gothm in 2018. In 2019, they became a VC Investor at BDMI - Bertelsmann Digital Media Investments. Rachel served as a Board Observer at Zephr in 2020 and as a Co-Founder and COO/Growth at Debbie Inc. since 2021, where they have built a waitlist of over 18k users, landed institutional partnerships, and raised $1.2m in capital. Additionally, Rachel held various leadership roles at TAMID Group from 2014 to 2018.
Rachel Lauren received their Bachelor's Degree in Business and Political Economy, Summa Cum Laude, from NYU Stern School of Business. Prior to that, they attended Bergen County Academies, specializing in the Academy for Business and Finance. In addition to their formal education, Rachel has obtained certifications such as Passed CFA Level I from the CFA Institute, and Series 63, Series 7, Series 86, and Series 87 from FINRA (Financial Industry Regulatory Authority).
